At AuroraMC, we hire for a variety of different roles to help us expand and improve our services. As a result, when
we have new or available roles for applicants, we will openly advertise our job openings here. As openings become
available, they will be listed here with links to the application form. We require a variety of different people
with a variety of different skills. If you feel you are qualified for any of the positions available here, feel free

AuroraMC - Build Team Member
The Build Team play one of the most important parts in keeping AuroraMC going! Without their maps, we wouldn't be able to
release new content with the best experience possible.
Core Responsibilities:
- Creating maps for all games on The AuroraMC Network.
- Handling and Fixing map issues found by players.
- Ensuring that all maps are tested and are up to gameplay standard.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good standing with the network (little to no punishments).
- Have at least 3-5 recently created builds in your portfolio
Desired Skills:
- Have at least 6 months of experience working on Minecraft Maps.
- Have experience working with a team of people.
- Knowledge of AuroraMC's Map Guidelines & Datapoints.

AuroraMC - Backend Developer
As an advanced custom coded Minecraft network, we require developers to help us maintain, update
and create our services across the network.
As a backend developer, you will work closely with our databases and storage systems as well as our network
management systems in order to help optimise and expand our services. You will also work closely with the
Minecraft Protocol to create a seamless experience while using our services. Most of your work will be behind
the scenes dealing with the core services that other developers depend on to keep the network running
smoothly!
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing our database structure and improving database efficiency.
- Improving internal tools and services.
- Expanding on the Minecraft Protocol and creating a seamless cross-version play.
- Providing packet-level utilities for our game and non-game feature developers to work with.
- Maintaining and improving upon our network load-balancer
- Maintaining and developing our network daemon.
- Developing and maintaining the core API for our other developer's to use.
- Developing, maintaining and improving our Anti-Cheat system.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good standing with the network (little to no punishments).
- Have at least 2 years of experience with Java.
- Have extensive experience with MySQL and Redis.
- Have extensive knowledge of SQL and related MySQL dialect.
- Have extensive experience with NMS Development and the Minecraft Protocol.
- Have experience with the Spigot API.
- Have experience with Maven Dependency Management.
- Have experience with Git Source Control.
Desired Skills:
- Be based in an EU timezone or a timezone close to UTC/GMT.
- Have experience working with a team of people.

AuroraMC - Web Developer
As an advanced custom coded Minecraft network, we require developers to help us maintain, update
and create our services across the network.
As a web developer, you'll be working on our website, online tools and store to help them all run smoothly. You'll also be working directly with our public and private API's and working to improve and maintain them. You'll also be working with XenForo on improving our forums experience and making our online presence look awesome!
Core Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining XenForo addons for integration with our services.
- Creating and maintaining online tools for internal use.
- Improving upon our website theme and making the website look awesome!
- Creating, updating, maintaining and documenting our public and private API's.
- Updating and maintaining our Discord Bot and Discord integration features.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good standing with the network (little to no punishments).
- Have at least 2 years of experience with PhP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related languages.
- Have extensive experience with MySQL and Redis.
- Have extensive knowledge of SQL and related MySQL dialect.
- Have extensive experience with making XenForo addons and the XenForo API.
- Have experience with Git Source Control.
Desired Skills:
- Have experience with Node.js and the Discord.js Library.

AuroraMC - Game Developer
As an advanced custom coded Minecraft network, we require developers to help us maintain, update
and create our services across the network.
As a game developer, you will be working with our game engine and our existing games to create brand new games, updates and game bug fixes for the network. You will work closely with our Community Management and Quality Assurance teams to create new games, create community requested updates to existing games and fix critical bugs with our games.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coming up with and creating brand new games.
- Working with Community Management to create game updates.
- Working with Quality Assurance to find and fix gameplay bugs.
- Working on creating quick hotfixes for issues after updates have been pushed live.
- Updating and maintaining our game engine.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good standing with the network (little to no punishments).
- Have at least 2 years of experience with Java.
- Have extensive experience with the Spigot API.
- Have experience working with NMS Mobs and custom AI.
- Have experience with Git Source Control.
Desired Skills:
- Have experience creating and developing Minecraft Mini-games
- Be based in an EU timezone or a timezone close to UTC/GMT.
- Have experience working with a team of people.

AuroraMC - Non-Game Feature Developer
As an advanced custom coded Minecraft network, we require developers to help us maintain, update
and create our services across the network.
As a non-game feature developer, you will be working on all the cool features our users will use on a daily basis. You will be bringing QoL updates, brand new systems, update our existing systems and make our users time on the network as easy as possible!
Core Responsibilities:

AuroraMC - Support Agent
Support Agents are responsible for handling the support tickets we receive. These are usually related to store purchases,
and they have access to extra tools and utilities that allow them to be more useful to our customers in these situations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assisting players with general queries about the network.
- Investigating issues with purchases.
- Handling of forced chargebacks.
- Forwarding issues with the store to their respective developer(s)
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be in good standing with the network (little to no punishments).
- Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Must have basic knowledge of store related terminology (e.g Chargebacks, etc)
Desired Skills:
- Have experience working in customer service
- Have experience working with Online Store Purchases
- Have basic knowledge of British Consumer Laws.
